By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the basics of menstruation, the menstrual cycle and common menstrual health conditions
  • Recognise how menstrual health symptoms can affect attendance, performance, concentration, confidence and engagement at work
  • Identify when additional support may be needed, and understand when to involve HR, occupational health or other workplace support services
  • Apply practical and reasonable workplace adjustments to support employees experiencing menstrual health difficulties
  • Respond confidently and appropriately to inappropriate comments, behaviours and stigma surrounding menstrual health
  • Conduct supportive, psychologically safe conversations with team members
  • Use the LEADERS framework to embed menstrual health support into everyday management practice and team culture
